What a fun time at the Inn at Leola Village! The wedding was perfect, the details were darling, and the people were great. It was a fantastic day for Dana and Andrew, who could not be happier to start their lives together. Here is a sneak peek from yesterday’s beautiful wedding.
I haven’t blogged these sweet triplets in a while, but I’ve been following them around with my camera since they were in their momma’s belly, and I’ve been following their big brother for just as long. Angels, all!

Montine is my dear friend, and I met Marco on their second date. It had been a sometimes long distance, even transcontinental relationship, but when they went all in, they became an amazing team. When Marco proposed in his adorable Italian accent, he said, “Baby-a, I think-a we’re going to have a good time-a.” And I think they really are. I love these two awesome people.
They had a tiny wedding at NYC City Hall and no professional pictures, so we grabbed some champagne, walked around Alphabet City and found cute places to be–city garden to street to rooftop. Of course, all the cuteness was Marco and Montine. LOVELOVELOVE these two. Great fun!
This extraordinarily handsome couple from the Hamptons brought me a special treat of gorgeous for my eyes. Set at the Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown, (the most amazing wedding venue around), Jill paid attention to the details with remarkable and perfect simplicity, choosing what was only truly special and truly beautiful. The very gorgeous James is from England, so there was very much a British vibe going on, too. But it was Jill’s keen sense of style and generosity of spirit that made this wedding an elegant, gracious, and super fun affair. Here is a sneak peek. Much love to these guys, and how much fun, laughter, sincerity, and warmth I feel whenever we get to hang out. To many years of just that in their lives. That is my wish for them. They are surrounded by love and acceptance, and it is apparent to all that this couple is true blue. So cheers to my sweet friends, Brian and Andy. I can’t wait to giggle, smile, laugh with you again soon.
The wedding of Julie and Will may well have taken place on Jay Gatsby’s lawn or at tea with Lewis Carroll. It looked like Alice in Wonderland, without the mad hatter or other deliriums. But there was definitely croquet, many elaborate and beautiful hats, spats, tails, and the kissing of frogs. It was an absolute dream! Special thanks to Joyous Derner who shined as my second! I cannot begin to tell you how tickled I am to have met this girl on her birthday and photograph her to simply celebrate life. It was the kind of day kites are made for–springtime emerging with blue, blue skies. A perfect day to be born. In honor of the first quarter of LaVelle’s life and my own happy birthday last week (we are sisters in the zodiac!), I post her photogenic face and applaud her incredible spirit. Yay, LaVelle! You are awesome!
I was so happy when Brian and Andy asked me to shoot their wedding. I knew it was going to be special. I had no idea how I’d cry at every single person who spoke in this ceremony. There is so much love here, between Brian and Andy, of course, but the room was filled with it from everyone present. It was touching, sweet, loving, and crazy fun. I adore these guys.
